As part of CYFOX's continuous efforts to address user feedback and enhance user satisfaction, we have recently launched a brand-new Community Center.

This platform allows users to engage, get tips, and, This platform allows users to engage, get tips, and, as per the topic of the article, provide feedback and suggest new features directly by communicating with the CYFOX Product Team.

In this article, we will explore the process of suggesting new features, from submission to final integration into the product.

Getting Started

To recap, to perform any actions within the center, including making feature suggestions, visitors must create an account and log in.

After logging in, the user should navigate to the Feature Requests Board. By clicking on it, they can view existing ideas presented as posts with comments. Each post is considered a feature request and is reviewed by the product team.

Suggest a New Idea

In addition to viewing existing posts, users can also create new posts which will stand as a new feature request.

The request could include any details, from simple text to attaching references like links, photos and videos.

Posts Suggestions

Once you start typing a new post, the community center will display any similar posts that may have been written before to avoid duplication. Each new post is considered a new item. If the system recognizes a request that is similar to yours, we strongly encourage you not to create a new post. Instead, use the existing post to add your input and support it through voting.

This helps streamline the process and ensures that the product team can focus on the most popular and impactful ideas, ultimately improving the product more efficiently.

Users can suggest improvements for any CYFOX product, including EDR, XDR, Cloud Multi-tenant, and Mail Secure. Each request will be reviewed by the relevant department within CYFOX.

Communicate

In addition to creating new posts, users can comment on other posts to ask questions, raise concerns, or emphasize their support. This activity increases the visibility and popularity of each post, enhancing its chances of being addressed.

CYFOX's product managers may also use the comments section to ask questions and clarify requests for further analysis. When this happens, the user will be notified of any messages from us.

Vote

Besides writing posts and comments, users can also vote on existing requests. Voting helps prioritize the most popular and impactful suggestions, guiding the product team's decision-making process.

Roadmap

Every feature request posted is considered by CYFOX's Product Team and can be tagged with one of the following states:

  1. Open: The default state for any user-submitted request.
